It serves telecommunications service providers, wireless operators, cable service providers, network-equipment manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, enterprises, governmental organizations, distributors, and strategic partners. JDS Uniphase Corporation was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Milpitas, California.
